Seborrheic dermatitis. This mainly develops on the scalp but can occur on other parts of the body where there are a lot of oil-producing glands. It is also known as dandruff, and in babies, cradle cap.

fluid-filled blisters, hives, which form an itchy, swollen, red rash, dry, scaly, or bumpy, flaky skin.

Treatment Options

DERMALUX LED LIGHT THERAPY

A powerful, yet non-invasive way to energise cell function, stimulate collagen production and promote healing. We combine red light with infrared which has a penetrative depth of 633nm. This is a safe and effective light that targets the skin cells deep within the dermal layers to strengthen their functions, stimulate blood flow and induce a faster cellular healing response. This treatment is proven to promote and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, reduce active acne, kill bacteria, increase circulation, and reduce redness and inflammation. This is the perfect treatment for dermatitis and a sensitised red skin. Depending on the severity of the dermatitis we recommend 2-3 treatments per week until symptoms resolve.
